The BS Agriculture Major in Soil Science Program enables the students to understand the soil as a major resource in various production systems, develop competencies in effective soil management and provide in-depth knowledge on the behavior of soils in relation to agricultural productivity and issues such as climate change that could impact soil properties and productive capacity of soil.

To know the importance of soils in major production systems and as a basic production resource through a basic understanding of soil ecology, fertility, microbiology, chemistry, physics, classification, land use, and conservation).
